This is an optional advanced section for readers who are wanting to organise their Behavioural Codex into a more concise labelling system. It does not introduce any additional theory. While labels already exist for most processing channels, they hold no relation to one another and require you to memorise six independent classifications. To fix this, I have developed a more unified format that instead labels each type by the corresponding layer it represents, followed by the initials of its processing label. This way a persons complete typology with associated strengths and weakness, can easily be understood through one shared intuitive system. <div style=" border-left: 4px solid #64B5F6; background-color: rgba(100, 181, 246, 0.1); padding: 0.75rem; border-radius: 6px; margin: 1rem 0; display: flex; align-items: flex-start; "> <span style="margin-right: 0.5rem;">💡</span> <div style="flex: 1;"> As our Psychological Configuration and Physiological Configuration both share the same initials PC, our <strong>Psychological Configuration</strong> section will use the term <strong>SC</strong>, and our <strong>Physiological Configuration</strong> section the term <strong>HC</strong>. </div> </div> # Psychological Configuration When creating labels for our **Psychological Configuration (SC)**, only the layers of the first two functions are needed to determine the full function stack. This is because the fourth function is always the opposite of the first, and the third is always the opposite of the second. <table style="margin: auto; text-align: center;">   <thead>     <tr>       <th>Project Label</th>       <th>Layer Stack</th>       <th>Function Stack</th>       <th>MBTI</th>     </tr>   </thead>   <tbody>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">8/5/SC</td><td>8/5/4/1</td><td>Ni, Fe, Ti, Se</td><td>INFJ</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">8/3/SC</td><td>8/3/6/1</td><td>Ni, Te, Fi, Se</td><td>INTJ</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">7/6/SC</td><td>7/6/3/2</td><td>Ne, Fi, Te, Si</td><td>ENFP</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">7/4/SC</td><td>7/4/5/2</td><td>Ne, Ti, Fe, Si</td><td>ENTP</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">6/7/SC</td><td>6/7/2/3</td><td>Fi, Ne, Si, Te</td><td>INFP</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">6/1/SC</td><td>6/1/8/3</td><td>Fi, Se, Ni, Te</td><td>ISFP</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">5/8/SC</td><td>5/8/1/4</td><td>Fe, Ni, Se, Ti</td><td>ENFJ</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">5/2/SC</td><td>5/2/7/4</td><td>Fe, Si, Ne, Ti</td><td>ESFJ</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">4/7/SC</td><td>4/7/2/5</td><td>Ti, Ne, Si, Fe</td><td>INTP</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">4/1/SC</td><td>4/1/8/5</td><td>Ti, Se, Ni, Fe</td><td>ISTP</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">3/8/SC</td><td>3/8/1/6</td><td>Te, Ni, Se, Fi</td><td>ENTJ</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">3/2/SC</td><td>3/2/7/6</td><td>Te, Si, Ne, Fi</td><td>ESTJ</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">2/5/SC</td><td>2/5/4/7</td><td>Si, Fe, Ti, Ne</td><td>ISFJ</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">2/3/SC</td><td>2/3/6/7</td><td>Si, Te, Fi, Ne</td><td>ISTJ</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">1/6/SC</td><td>1/6/3/8</td><td>Se, Fi, Te, Ni</td><td>ESFP</td></tr>     <tr><td style="font-weight:bold;">1/4/SC</td><td>1/4/5/8</td><td>Se, Ti, Fe, Ni</td><td>ESTP</td></tr>   </tbody> </table> <br> <center>Layer 8 = Internal Intuition (Ni) ↔ Layer 1 = External Sensing (Se)<br> Layer 7 = External Intuition (Ne) ↔ Layer 2 = Internal Sensing (Si)<br> Layer 6 = Internal Feeling (Fi) ↔ Layer 3 = External Thinking (Te)<br> Layer 5 = External Feeling (Fe) ↔ Layer 4 = Internal Thinking (Ti)</center> --- # Psychological Imbalance Our **Psychological Imbalance (SI)**, follows the same layer order as our Psychological Configuration, only needing the layers of the first two Enneagram types in order to complete its full stack (theoretical). Each type will be labelled by its respective layer, if you consider yourself to be bisexual then you can use a .5 to represent the area between the layers of your heterosexual and homosexual type. <table style="margin: auto; text-align: center;"> <thead> <tr> <th>Layer</th> <th>Physiological Configuration</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr><td>8</td><td>Heterosexual Cisgender Female</td></tr> <tr><td>7</td><td>Homosexual Cisgender Female</td></tr> <tr><td>6</td><td>Heterosexual Transgender Female</td></tr> <tr><td>5</td><td>Homosexual Transgender Female</td></tr> <tr><td>4</td><td>Homosexual Transgender Male</td></tr> <tr><td>3</td><td>Heterosexual Transgender Male</td></tr> <tr><td>2</td><td>Homosexual Cisgender Male</td></tr> <tr><td>1</td><td>Heterosexual Cisgender Male</td></tr> </tbody> </table> **Project Label** example: - Heterosexual Cisgender Female = **8/HC** - Bisexual Cisgender Male = **1.5/HC** --- # Physiological Imbalance As mentioned, I am unsure how many **Physiological Imbalance (HI)** states we actively engage with, or the order of them. For now we will just refer to one nervous state and its respective layer when typing, however if you want to add additional secondary states you can also do that. <table style="margin: auto; text-align: center;"> <thead> <tr> <th>Layer</th> <th>Nervous State</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr><td>8</td><td>Mental Freeze</td></tr> <tr><td>7</td><td>Physical Freeze</td></tr> <tr><td>6</td><td>Mental Fawn</td></tr> <tr><td>5</td><td>Physical Fawn</td></tr> <tr><td>4</td><td>Mental Flight</td></tr> <tr><td>3</td><td>Physical Flight</td></tr> <tr><td>2</td><td>Mental Fight</td></tr> <tr><td>1</td><td>Physical Fight</td></tr> </tbody> </table> **Project Label** example: - Physical Fawn = **5/HI** - Physical Flight, Mental Freeze = **3/8/HI** --- # Environmental Configuration If you wish to use your **Environmental Configuration (EC)**, stick with the sun, moon, rising system for now and use the corresponding layer associated for each sign. For the second level subdivision signs, (Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius) use a .5 to indicate they correspond to points between two layers. <table style="margin: auto; text-align: center;"> <thead> <tr> <th>Layer</th> <th>Sign</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr><td>8</td><td>Pisces</td></tr> <tr><td>7.5</td><td>Aquarius</td></tr> <tr><td>7</td><td>Sagittarius</td></tr> <tr><td>6</td><td>Libra</td></tr> <tr><td>5.5</td><td>Leo</td></tr> <tr><td>5</td><td>Cancer</td></tr> <tr><td>4</td><td>Gemini</td></tr> <tr><td>3.5</td><td>Scorpio</td></tr> <tr><td>3</td><td>Capricorn</td></tr> <tr><td>2</td><td>Virgo</td></tr> <tr><td>1.5</td><td>Taurus</td></tr> <tr><td>1</td><td>Aries</td></tr> </tbody> </table> **Project Label** example: - Cancer sun, Gemini moon and Virgo rising = **5/4/2/EC** - Aries sun, Aquarius moon, Scorpio rising = **1/7.5/3.5/EC** --- # Environmental Imbalance As mentioned, I am unsure how many **Environmental Imbalance (EI)** states we actively engage with, or the order of them. For now we will just refer to one attachment state and its respective layer when typing, but if you want to add additional secondary states you can also do that. <table style="margin: auto; text-align: center;"> <thead> <tr> <th>Layer</th> <th>Attachment State</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr><td>8</td><td>Mental Avoidant</td></tr> <tr><td>7</td><td>Physical Avoidant</td></tr> <tr><td>6</td><td>Mental Appeasing</td></tr> <tr><td>5</td><td>Physical Appeasing</td></tr> <tr><td>4</td><td>Mental Controlling</td></tr> <tr><td>3</td><td>Physical Controlling</td></tr> <tr><td>2</td><td>Mental Anxious</td></tr> <tr><td>1</td><td>Physical Anxious</td></tr> </tbody> </table> **Project Label** example: - Physical Avoidant = **7/EI** - Physical Anxious, Mental Controlling = **1/4/EI** --- You can then combine each of your individual codex types to form your full typology. For example if someone was an: - ENFP - Enneagram 4/3/6/8 - Heterosexual Cisgender Male - Mental Flight/Physical Freeze - Virgo/Aquarius/Pisces - Physical Controlling/Mental Avoidant That would translate to - **7/6/SC | 8/3/SI** - **1/HC | 4/7/HI** - **2/7.5/8/EC | 3/8/EI** While this may seem confusing at first glance, you can quickly begin to recognise that: - Their mental processing is strongest **(SC)** at Layers 7 and 6, and imbalanced **(SI)** through Layers 8 and 3. - Their physical processing is strongest **(HC)** at Layer 1, and imbalanced **(HI)** through Layers 4 and 7. - Their relational processing is strongest **(EC)** through Layers 2, 7.5 and 8, and imbalanced **(EI)** through Layers 3 and 8. This means that once you understand each of the layers, you can easily understand someone's strengths, weaknesses, and preferences from only two numbers. --- *This system remains provisional and open for refinement.* <span class="nav-buttons">[[Patreon Benefits & Cheat Sheet|« Back]] [[FAQ|Next »]]</span>
