The eight layers of human ability are not limited to a single process of human behaviour. Instead, they appear to individually manifest across at least six distinct mediums of human experience. ---
From what I have observed, there are three core domains that each independently influence human processing: our Mind (psyche), Body, and Environment. Each domain can affect us through both how we are born (Nature) and how we are altered over time (Nurture), giving rise to six distinct channels that mediate how the layers express through each of us.
*These **Three Domains** and **Six Processing Channels** reside under what I have labelled as our **Behavioural Codex**, a broader system that will continue to expand as the project develops.* ---
The Six Processing Channels

Mind

1. These each develop independently and do not influence each other. - **Nurture** based channels describe the layers that have become imbalanced through each domain. These develop through a mixture of individual ability and environmental influence. --- We will next explore how the layers are expressed across each of the six processing channels using the subdivision process, starting with our **Psychological Configuration**, where the layers appear as cognitive processing patterns. !layers-tree3.svg ---
💡

At this stage, your Behavioural Codex only focuses on the recurring behavioural structures found across general human behaviour. It does not account for every individual factor that may shape a person, including wider biological variation, culture, religion, wider trauma, neurodivergence or life circumstances. While these factors are highly significant towards your own life and function, they are typically additional and unique personal influences that you will experience alongside your own Behavioural Codex.

As each of these channels are built upon previously independent systems, it is unlikely that they will all neatly or equally fit into the projects criteria. Realistically, they should all be treated as approximate placeholders that will each need further refinement if the larger system appears to be producing credible results. The project has been designed to start with the simplest and most foundational material and build upwards from there, so even though all findings are based on real recursive patterns and results, it would not be surprising to find areas of oversimplification or partial truth where deeper branches will need to be formed.

« Back Next »
