Layer 6 focuses on recognising personal differences, values, strengths and weaknesses, and aligning them towards authenticity and natural suitability.

While Layer 5 recognises the differences shaped by our upbringing and environment (**Nurture**), Layer 6 recognises the differences we are internally born with (**Nature**). We are all naturally stronger and weaker in different areas, and this layer focuses on understanding our innate abilities, values, desires, sensitivities and ways of functioning.
Once survival is stable and we have a social foundation to rely upon, we no longer need to shape ourselves only around what keeps us accepted, useful, or supported by others. Layer 6 turns inward to understand who we are by nature, what we are good at, what we enjoy, and whether the life we are building aligns with what we are most naturally suited to become.

**Individually:**
- You lose touch with your own values, strengths, and sense of identity, causing your choices to become increasingly shaped by external approval, trends, and convenience.
**Societal:**
- Governments attempt to imitate other countries and institutions instead of recognising their unique strengths through their own geography, environment, and culture. Consumerism replaces cultural and communal identity as corporations shape the tastes, beliefs and personal values of populations.
